Position: Site Engineer
Location: Initially Buckinghamshire
Remuneration: 28,000 - 35,000 with strong benefits package including private medical, DC pension, 25 days holiday, strong car allowance, tax free lodge allowance etc
Due to the securing of a new project, a privately-owned Principal Contractor is seeking to attract a Site Engineer to their team.
As Site Engineer you will be responsible for:
-Setting out of civil engineering scope of work such as earthworks, drainage, structures etc
-Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with project requirements
-Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance
-Assist in the planning and scheduling and efficiently organise the site in order to meet an agreed programme of deadlines
-Any other reasonable duties as required
This role would be perfect for an individual with 6 - 12 months of post graduate experience gained working on a civil engineering or construction project. This role will be very site focused, with about 70% of your time spent out on site.

To be successful in this position it is envisaged that:
-You hold a civil engineering qualification at HNC, HND or Degree level (or equivalent)
-Be confident in setting out using GPS and Robotic systems
-Have some supervisory experience and be comfortable in working with direct labour and Foreman
-Be able to think on your feet and be proactive on site
-Be ambitious and focused on developing your career and experience
