Position: Traffic Orders Consultant
Location: North London, N1
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum plus benefits including 25 days holiday, pension etc
Due to ongoing growth and because of several exciting project wins that will be integral to achieving the London Mayor's transport strategy, a multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking to attract a Traffic Order Consultant to their high-performing team.
You will be working in close-knit multi-disciplinary teams, covering planning, design, and engineering implementation.

To be successful in this role it is anticipated that you will:
-Hold a relevant degree, or equivalent. eg. Geography, Civil Engineering, (Significant experience will be considered in lieu of this.)
-Understand transportation techniques, including but not limited to: Parking and Traffic Management Orders.
-Appreciate the relevant technical standards, and the frameworks and environments within which the company operates.
-Have solid experience working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
-Writing traffic orders, and advising from inception through to completion of schemes
-Responding pro-actively to client requests, while ensuring all work is completed in line with industry standards and legislation.
-Assisting in the production of proposals, bids, and estimates; maintaining the transportation team's high standard of work.
-Providing expert support to internal stakeholders, in the attainment of wider organisationally strategic aims.
