Our client is a newly established infrastructure private equity fund based in London. With an exceptionally strong financial backing from several prominent institutions and several seed assets under their management, the fund will focus on investing across the infrastructure space with a European focus and currently have several deals in the pipeline.

As the fund continues to source new deals and ramp up their activity, there is a need to hire a Vice President to play a key role originating and executing investments. This is an exciting opportunity for an established infrastructure investment professional with a good deal track record to join a newly established fund to lead their investments and play a key role in the growth of the business.

The Vice President will:

  • Report to the Head of the fund, taking responsibility for originating and executing infrastructure investments across Europe with a key focus on the renewable energy space.
  • Regularly interact and liaise with banks, funds, developers and industry professionals to generate investment opportunities.
  • Oversee junior members of the team on a deal by deal basis to assess opportunities including financial analysis, due diligence, valuations and presenting deals to the Investment Committee.
  • Provide training to junior members of the team as and when necessary.

Interested candidates must:

  • Be currently sitting in a Vice President or a similar position within an infrastructure principal investment team.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the infrastructure space, ideally within the renewable energy and utilities market.
  • Possess a strong deal track record with proven experience leading investments from origination to execution.
  • Have a very strong and all-round skill set.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, fluency in a European language is preferable given the focus of the fund.
  • Be motivated to join a growing fund where you will have the chance to invest regularly and build a strong deal sheet.

The criteria listed above will be strictly applied. If you feel you meet the requirements, please submit your CV in Microsoft Word format.
