Learning and Development Manager

Reporting to the Head of L&D, you will be involved in the development of people by supporting them to fulfil their potential while driving the growth of my client's business.

This role will require someone who is able to work collaboratively using a consultative approach who will help support the development and delivery of their existing programmes across their network as well as designing new ones. You will be involved in onboarding, career development paths, talent mapping and leadership development.

Key accountabilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Working closely with the Head of L&D and the wider people team to deliver the people strategy to the business
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their talent development needs
  • Conducting a thorough learning needs analysis

To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • A proven track record of success in a similar role, ideally in a multisite business
  • Experience of designing and delivering training
  • String understanding of the learning cycle
  • Understanding of those working in a target driven sales environment
  • CIPD or related L&D qualification is ideal but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptable interpersonal and influencing skills
