Property Administrator, based Manchester City Centre
3 month fixed-term contract
£20,000 - £22,000 pro-rata
Our client is a leading commercial property manager who is looking for a Property Administrator to join its busy Property Management team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be required to support the Property Managers in looking after a high level portfolio of properties across the North West region, which will include a broad spread of assets from shopping centres through to multi-occupied offices. Whilst initially a 3 month fixed term contract, this position has the potential to become a permanent position.
Key duties will include:
Document management of leases, licences and contracts.
Ensuring that documents are saved to the client's management system.
Updating surveyor's comments on their individual monthly client reports, liaising with the QUBE Report Controller and binding the reports.
Maintain register of keys for vacant properties and liaising with the vacant property inspectors regarding their weekly inspections reports.
Arrange property inspections.
Liaise with utility companies to resolve queries on vacant property bills.
Notify Local Rating Authorities and utility companies regarding changes in occupation of properties.
Obtain quotes for minor repairs and liaise with contractors on non-FM managed properties in conjunction with the Property Manager.
Assist the surveyors in chasing tenant's compliance of Insurance Risk Improvements.
Review Surveyor's compliance and instructing works/assessments where necessary.
Assist with the production and monitoring of sales tracker schedules.
Assist with service charge budget packs.
Extend wider administrative support to the team.
Occasional lunchtime coverage of reception desk if required.
