Working within this medium sized general practice firm, you will be exposed to the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters acting for employers and employees. From redundancies/restructures, workplace bullying and harassment to unfair dismissals and providing advice under the ERA. Therefore, the work is truly diverse. You'll have the mentorship of two partners in the team who are great to work alongside but also have autonomy in the way you manage your files. You'll be able to regularly attend and lead mediations and also have appearances in the ERA.
You will be someone with:
- 4+ years' solid employment law experience and part of your background may involve broader litigation or family law work
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Experience gained in a reputable law firm; and
- An ability to hold a NZ practising certificate.
