This is a chance to hone your litigation skills with a leading firm on the North Shore. Our client is a well-rounded practice that provides quality work, a decent work/life balance, a social culture and promotes its lawyers in furthering their business development capabilities as well as their client contact. You will be mentored by an expert litigator and get full involvement in litigation files from start to finish.
This is a broad litigation role that will see you involved in a variety of work, including:
- Civil litigation
- Dispute resolution, mediation and arbitration
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Building and construction disputes
- Land and leasing disputes
- Company and shareholder disputes
- Insurance law
- Competition and Fair Trading Act advice
- Defamation law
The ideal candidate would have gained experienced in a top tier or well-regarded litigation team, have strong university academics and good drafting and advocacy skills. Perhaps you're based on the North Shore and are interested in finding a good litigation role closer to home or you're a NZ qualified lawyer returning from overseas and looking to re-establish yourself in the market.
