Our client, a long established New Zealand business, are looking for a recent graduate to join their corporate property team to assist the in house property management function. This business has a unique and diverse portfolio, geographically spread, not just throughout NZ, but internationally. There is a mixture of leasehold and freehold property, spread across various asset classes, while predominantly focused on industrial.
The role of Assistant Property Manager is to assist the Property Manager with the day to day activities associated with managing the portfolio assigned, through effective property administration and services. The duties may include but not be limited to the following:
- Manage lease documentation
- Assist with rent review processes
- Legislation compliance
- Scheduling and undertaking inspections
- Database management
- Monitoring financial plans for development projects
- Dealing with tenant correspondence and queries
The ideal candidate for the role should have the following attributes:
- Tertiary qualification in relevant field (Property, Valuation etc.)
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An ambitious nature
- Previous experience in Property would be advantageous but not essential.
