With 2020 quickly approaching Birmingham continues to see growth in the Planning sector and opportunities are arising for experienced Planners. Our client has an established presence across Birmingham and the wider UK and due to continued success within the Birmingham office they require an experienced Associate to join the team.
The Associate Planner will have an integral role in the delivery of planning success for a varied client base that includes house builders, retailers, private individuals, public sector organisations and developers. Tasked with leading on projects predominantly across the residential and commercial sectors you will submit planning applications, promote land through the LDF, manage and mentor junior members of the team and be proactive in maintaining strong client relationships whilst beginning to develop new business.
With a national presence our client has a fantastic reputation and have created a multidisciplinary environment that is built around their success in the Planning sector. From their city centre office you will be well placed to continue your progression and lead on challenging schemes across the West Midlands and elsewhere in the UK.
The ideal Associate Planner will be able to demonstrate their experience of handling projects on behalf of a varied client base and private sector experience is essential. Your responsibilities include the management of junior team members and therefore previous experience of this shall be highly beneficial whilst you can also demonstrate you possess excellent communication skills. Chartered membership of the RTPI is also essential.
