Cobalt Recruitment is seeking a Building Manager to take charge of a stunning commercial development in the heart of Glasgow's central business district. This modern multi-let office building embodies the modern flexible approach to day to day office working, having been designed to the highest specification, taking pride of place amongst our clients illustrious (and expanding) commercial portfolio.


As the manager of this building your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:


  • Maintaining the building fabric and plant to the highest standard, both internally and externally;

  • Conducting inspections and audits of the building at regular intervals;


  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with tenants within the building as well as key stakeholders;

  • Working alongside external suppliers and in-house staff to ensure the smooth running of both the building and service provision within it;

  • Chairing tenant meetings where relevant;

  • Setting and managing service charge budgets.

  • Taking responsibility for the environmental management of the property.

They are therefore seeking ambitious, proactive individuals who are keen to grow within a market-leading business. Due to the profile of this building, you will need to display previous experience in managing commercial buildings previously - ideally within a managing agent environment. An IOSH is essential, whilst a membership of BIFM would be a distinct advantage.
