Mergers & Acquisition Surveyor

Based Greater Manchester

This is a pivotal role working for a regional investor who have ambitious plans to grow their portfolio and the appointed candidate will be key to assisting with this growth. Working with the Mergers and Acquisitions Director, you will support on formal procurement processes, bid processes and disposals where applicable, in additional to implementing a high standard of reporting on M&A activity.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Director and wider team, bringing forward viable opportunities for approval
  • Develop and manage relationships with counterparts in external organisations that need to be engaged with such as public bodies, JV partners, planners and consultants
  • Evaluate opportunities, conducting research and presenting information
  • Undertake the financial modelling of opportunities, including scenario modelling, providing clearly written reports and analysis of development and acquisition opportunities
  • Assist with bids for new opportunities through processes such as OJEU and other similar public procurement methods
  • Collate reports for the Management team and Main Board.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • A Degree or Masters equivalent
  • Commercial Property experience
  • Ability to build strong, key stakeholder relationships both internal and external
  • A keen interest in property and all aspects of M&A
  • Good levels of numeracy and literacy with the ability to evaluate and communicate findings
  • The ability to manage tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Committed to personal and professional development
  • Able to travel nationally with this role.
