Tired of managing run down leasehold properties? With so many cranes on the London skyline it is no surprise that their are a number of new build developments coming online in 2018. If you think you'd have what it takes to manage one of them then read on.

We are currently looking for a leasehold/block manager to join one of our client's property management team based in East London/Essex. Well established in the real estate industry, our client is a bespoke chartered surveying practise who manages both commercial and residential properties London and the surrounding regions.

They are now seeking a management professional to look after a newly won residential portfolio in Essex. This is a new build portfolio comprised of approximately 500 units.

To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and possess strong communication and relationship management skills. It is also important that you have previous experience in property management, with a solid understanding of block property management processes.

This new role will require someone who is able to hit the ground running; as such you must be able to demonstrate strong leasehold management skills in the following areas:

Setting of service charge budgets
Serving of section 20 notices and major works processes
Chairing or attending of AGMs and EGMs
An ability to deal with difficult people and resolve conflict effectively
Ideally hold an IRPM qualification.

It is also required that you possess a full and clean driving licence.

Alongside a healthy salary package our client will also endorse your training towards an IRPM and RICS qualification. What's more, our client are also able to support you through your APC studies.
