Cobalt are currently partnered with one of London's leading letting agents, they are looking to a hire a property manager into their office based in North-West London. The office boasts a large open plan environment with an energetic atmosphere. Not only will you be joining a fun and open-minded office, there is also the opportunity to grow the portfolio and eventually progress into a more senior position whilst bringing in someone to work underneath you.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Arrange and conduct pre-vacate inspections to identify scope of works required for the refresh
  • Inspect property and instruct works once property has become vacant
  • Dealing with insurance claims, liaising with block managers, loss adjusters, arranging estimates
  • Perusing check out reports and quantifying deductions from deposits and liaising with landlords and tenants to negotiate an agreement between them. If necessary submitting disputes to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme or responding to disputes submitted by tenants.
  • Assist the Lettings Agents with deposit dilapidation by organising quotes for reparation works to be billed to the outgoing tenant
  • Deal with all maintenance issues and deposit returns

This role requires a highly professional individual with strong communication skills who has the ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships. A high level of diligence is also required so the successful candidate will have ideally come from a similar background within the residential property sector. The following attributes are of interest:

  • A suitable academic background; relevant qualifications in Math's and English
  • Evidence of an excellent track record in Customer Service
  • Experience of using property management software
  • A practical approach to problem solving and an ability to prioritise tasks
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision from day one
