Recruitment Consultant - Residential Property Accounting
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be working alongside the Property Accounts desks sourcing individuals that specialise in the accounting services and treatments for the actual properties. Job titles include Property Accountant, Service Charge Accountant, Client Accountant, Lettings Accountant, Credit Controller, and Accounts Assistant.
The Finance and Accounting team is structured into two sectors: Corporate Accounting - which is sourcing and placing finance & accounting professionals for the Real Estate companies, which is further split in Qualified and Part Qualified specialisms and Property Accounting (where this role sits). The property accounting desks are further broken down into two specialisms: Two established desks that support commercial properties (office blocks, commercial long leases) and another desk supporting residential properties (build to rent flats, small blocks, and individual properties)
The types of companies supported are Chartered Surveyors, Property Consultancies, Large Landlords, Asset Managers and various Investment Managers/Funds. Salaries can range from £20,000 for entry-level roles - through to £60,000 for Team Leader, "Head of" Roles, with a majority of roles being £27,000-£35,000. The desk will require reconnecting with a number of contacts that have not been contacted regularly for the last 9-12 months whilst there has been a period of transition - so will be establishing the relationships. They will be able to leverage off the successful Residential and Facilities Management team who have relationships and terms with a number of businesses.
