AR Specialist

This role is ideal for an AR professional with real estate experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. You'll play a key role in managing tenant billing, collections, and receivables reporting while working closely with property management, legal, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post tenant payments and reconcile rent collections across multiple properties
• Manage AR aging reports, track delinquencies, and follow up on outstanding balances
• Review lease terms to ensure accurate rent, escalation, and charge processing
• Issue monthly rent statements and respond to tenant inquiries
• Coordinate with internal teams on delinquent accounts and payment plans
• Assist with daily cash application, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Generate AR reports for management and assist in audit preparation

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience, with a focus in real estate preferred
• Familiarity with lease structures, tenant ledgers, and CAM billing
• Experience using property accounting platforms (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

The Fair market Assumption for this role's base salary is between $60,000 and $70,000 annually.
