Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Construction

A full-service construction firm is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on multifamily construction projects. This is an opportunity for an early-career construction professional to gain hands-on experience in site coordination, subcontractor management, scheduling, materials, and jobsite safety while working alongside experienced construction professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site logistical support, field planning, and progress reporting
• Assist with coordinating subcontractor activities and trade schedules
• Monitor subcontractor work and help maintain accountability for project progress
• Enforce OSHA and project-specific safety requirements
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, and proper equipment staging
• Coordinate material drop-offs and upcoming deliveries
• Assist with material and equipment management
• Support overall jobsite coordination and day-to-day field operations on multifamily projects

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of construction experience, preferably with multifamily projects
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors and project team members
• Commitment to jobsite safety and maintaining a professional work environment
