About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage annual and interim recertifications for Affordable Housing/LIHTC properties within required timelines.
- Review and verify resident income, assets, and household documentation per HUD, LIHTC, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain compliance records in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, MRI).
- Communicate with residents to collect required documentation and explain recertification requirements.
- Collaborate with property managers, compliance teams, and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assist with policy updates to maintain compliance.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to housing agencies as required.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of affordable housing compliance or property management experience, preferably with LIHTC programs.
- Strong knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and other affordable housing regulations.
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as TCS, HCCP, or COS a plus.
The Fair market Assumption for this role's base salary is between $50,000 and $60,000 annually.
