Construction Superintendent

Summary
Established General Contracting/Construction Management firm with a history of delivering projects throughout Westchester, Lower Hudson Valley, NYC, and Connecticut, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and client service.
Actively seeking Superintendents to lead all field operations from mobilization through completion, overseeing day-to-day site activities and coordinating trades to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
The portfolio spans a diverse range of complex projects across the education, healthcare, life sciences, residential, and corporate sectors, including both ground-up construction and major renovations. Projects typically range from $5M to $30M+, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and schedule execution.
Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and compliant job site

Perform constructability reviews

Coordinate and supervise all construction trades

Plan and sequence construction activities in accordance with the project schedule

Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules

Manage site manpower and material logistics

Monitor work progress and ensure quality standards are met

Conduct daily site inspections
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred

5+ years of experience in commercial construction on large-scale projects

Ability to read and interpret construction documents

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CAD, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and ProjectSight is a plus

Willingness to work a flexible schedule as required by project demands
