About the Role
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project Kick-Off Meeting with Project Management Team and Estimating Team
- Process Monthly Client AIA G702/G703 Pay Applications through Procore/SAGE software
- Managing Subcontractor Project AIA Invoicing through Procore/SAGE software
- Accounts Receivable & AR Collections Follow up with clients on outstanding pay applications
- Assist CFO with weekly Subcontractor payments
- Assist CFO with month end closing process
- Complete project financial closeout upon completion of project
- General Conditions expense monitoring
- Monthly Project Financial reviews with Project Managers and CFO
- Perform other duties as assigned by CFO
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or similar field
- 1-3 years' experience related to the Construction Project Accountant Role
- AIA billing experience preferred
- NYC and NYS public agency billing preferred
- Sage 300 & Procore Software experience preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
