About the Role
Title: Property Manager
Location: New Windsor, NY
Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 Base + Benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure effective maintenance to ensure property efficiency and quality service.
- Implement and maintain effective property management policies and procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with LIHTC regulations, including overseeing annual recertification.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for State and County regulatory reporting.
- Liaise with auditors, inspectors, and compliance officers as needed.
- Supervise and support the onsite maintenance superintendent and any additional staff.
- Monitor rent collections, delinquencies, and enforce lease terms.
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting in collaboration with ownership or management company.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of affordable housing/LIHTC experience (TCS, C3P or COS preferred).
- Knowledge of LIHTC compliance and experience with annual recertification.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or related.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Yardi is preferred.
- Must be professional, energetic and positive.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
