Superintendent, Commercial Construction

A well-established NYC General Contractor and construction leader across many industries from hospitality to corporate offices and healthcare is seeking a talented Superintendent to oversee new and existing construction. This Superintendent must be well-versed in trades. From full build outs and renovations to large scale projects, serving clients throughout Manhattan and the five boroughs.

Location:

• Projects throughout Manhattan and 5 boroughs

Compensation:

• $120,000 - $180,000 + benefits

The Role:

• Prepares the project schedule and provides updates regularly, maintains reports accurately describing project status
• Responsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects
• Reviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely
• Directs subcontractor activities within commercial fit-outs for interior projects
• Maintain and verify LEED requirements

• Construction job site experience
• 5 years supervisory experience
• Experience with email and ability to learn company-specific programs and software
• Construction background required
