Our client is a mechanical contractor based in Westchester County, specializing in the HVAC industry.

Summary

The Rental Manager will be leading the rental business, optimizing the business plan and managing the operating budget, financial targets, achieving customer satisfaction objectives, maintaining operational and working relationships with customers, and maximizing operational efficiency.

The role:

• Responsible for working with current and potential customers in renting boilers and associated equipment.
• Involved in all aspects of the rental process, including preparing rental agreements to the return and inspection of the equipment.
• Interact with the company's various departments including Sales, Parts, Service, Finance, and Project Management.
• Make asset purchase recommendations to improve the financial returns of the overall rental business.

The person

• Extensive knowledge of all boiler equipment in the rental fleet
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years rental experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional behavior and appearance
• Self-Motivated & self-starting attitude
• Asset Management skills
• Complex problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and communicating technical findings
• Conflict resolution skills for both internal and external challenges
• Safety Management
