Role: Construction Assistant Project Manager - Long Island, NY
Our client is an established national Real Estate Developer specializing in residential multi-family projects throughout the country. As their pipeline keeps steadily growing, they are looking to add a talented Assistant Project Manager to their NY Construction team.

Only those that fit the following criteria will be considered:
Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience in the ground-up, multi-family, residential sector of the construction.
A degree in Construction Management; Design or Engineering a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, a "no-task-too-small" mentality, exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
OSHA 10, OSHA 30 certifications
Proficiency in industry related software, specifically - Procore
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Home location that allows for daily commute to Nassau County.
The Role:
Ability to build, understand and maintain a project budget, and schedule.
Have a complete understanding of the RFI process, including keeping and maintaining RFI logs.
Able to assist in the preparation of prime contracts, subcontracts & purchase orders.
Have a complete understanding of the submittal process and be capable of maintaining a submittal log.
Schedule, hold and attend project meetings as required by Ownership.
Complete understanding of blueprints/drawings.
Understands specifications/efficient in finding information in a spec book.
Able to execute and process change orders and change events.
Able to process invoices from vendors, subcontractors etc.
Able to perform the punch list process and understands the as-built and closeout process.
Able to read through the front end of contracts and identify red flags or any cautionary items.
Perform any other duties as required.
