Our client is a nationally ranked General Contractor specializing in healthcare and medical facilities. They are looking to add a Healthcare Project Manager to oversee construction of several facilities throughout NJ.

The role:

• Oversee Healthcare projects, including going to job site meetings, and site walkthroughs
• Liaison between owners and subcontractors to stay on top project status and complications.
• Prepare space for MRI rooms, Cat scans, radiology etc.
• Some hospital projects are ground up, most ongoing projects are interior fitouts and finishes
• Manage all projects from concept to completion and supervise project management team to ensure they be held to a high standard.
• Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances.
• 60% in office, 40% on site
• Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
• Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders.
• Assist in any other duties as assigned

The Individual

• In order to be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate:
• At least 7 years' experience as a Construction Project Manager focusing on Healthcare projects.
• Must have at least 2 years of General Contracting experience
• Proven track record of Heathcare interior fitouts and finished - Ground Up is a plus
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
• Proven ability to run projects on time and on/under budget
• Own your own vehicle - $400/monthly vehicle reimbursement
• A home base that enables easy commute throughout Northern and Central New Jersey
