Our client is a leading General Contractor located in New York and they are looking to add a Site Administrator to their projects in the Albany area.

The role:

  • The Construction Administrator will assist the Project Manager, as well as other members of the Construction Management team
  • Reports to Project Manager and assists in general administration, review project documents, drawings and specifications, processing submittals, managing RFIs, subcontractor/client liaison,
  • Ensure timely ordering and maintenance of all office supplies, answering phones and direct calls and other ad-hoc tasks
  • Support day to day operations of the construction field office

The person:

  • 2+ years of experience with a construction company or similar related experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, typing, spelling, grammar, and math skills are required.
  • Knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Strong background with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Maintain the ability to multi-task and work in a high production environment
  • Excellent leadership skills and organizational skills.
