Director of Finance

Affordable housing developer is seeking a Director of Finance to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team, overseeing the Payroll Department and extensive experience with Medicaid billing.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Payroll Department
• Oversee the budget process.
• Ensure that all applicable Medicaid regulations are being adhered to.
• Works with staff to ensure that budget to actual reports are sent out timely and variances are addressed.
• Will develop a plan to meet with Directors on a quarterly basis to discuss budget variance and form a plan to address these variances.
• Develop new payroll reports and devise more efficient processing/managing/reporting of payroll.
• Meets all departments reporting requirements.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance; seven to ten years of directly related experience, with five years of supervisory experience.
• Manages one or more employees in the Finance Department, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Work Schedule

· Hybrid

The Fair market Assumption for this role is between $140,000- $150,000 per annual.
