Position Overview:
The company are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Manager with a background in public accounting and strong GAAP experience to join the Finance team. The FP&A Manager will play a crucial role in driving financial planning and analysis processes, providing insights to support strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and projections to support strategic initiatives.
Provide insightful analysis of financial performance and key metrics to senior management.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements in all financial reporting and analysis.
Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the FP&A function.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.
Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a background in public accounting.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear and actionable insights.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience leading and developing a team of financial professionals.+
