Industry-leading HVAC Contractor based out of Queens, NY who are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support projects across the NY Metro Area.

Job Requirements:

  • Engage in regular meetings with General Contractors, Clients, and Engineers to confer about project scope and timeline.

  • Oversee the follow-up process for RFI's, Submittals, and any other requisite documentation.

  • Effectively communicate lead times for approved fixture schedules to clients for meticulous work planning.

  • Contribute to estimating and pricing modifications during the bidding phase.

  • Address coordination and engineering challenges that may arise for field personnel during installation.

  • Ensure proper planning for approved Submittals and extended lead times in collaboration with the procurement team.

  • Frequently update directors on significant project milestones.

  • Guarantee comprehensive logistical arrangements for on-site transportation, both for yourself and labor staff.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of extensive Mechanical Project Management involvement in HVAC projects.

  • Proficient understanding of mechanical systems.

  • Prior background working for a mechanical subcontractor is a prerequisite.

  • Adeptness in comprehending and deciphering MEPS drawings.

  • Possesses a polished and professional demeanor with strong client-facing skills.

  • Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office suite and Construction Management software.

  • Capable of skillfully managing multiple tasks within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication capabilities encompassing email, verbal, and telephone correspondence.

  • Preferably holds a degree in Engineering.

Compensation: $130,000-$170,000 + Benefits

The above salary range represents Cobalt's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards package this client provides to employees.
