Title: Real Estate Paralegal

Location: Palm Beach County, FL

Our client is a nationally ranked Healthcare Real Estate firm with a growing portfolio throughout the United States. As they continue to expand their US network, they're looking to add a Real Estate Paralegal to the team.

The Role:

  • Assist attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including documentation, leases, due diligence, development and entitlements, closing and post-closing activities for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and title and survey.
  • Be a member of the firm's Real Estate department, reporting to the attorneys on your team
  • Prepare and administer contract critical dates and closing checklists.
  • Track and assist overseeing attorney with review of due diligence and entitlement documents such as zoning analyses, traffic studies, noise studies, environmental assessments and permits.
  • Prepare initial draft documents, amendments to agreements and miscellaneous documents, including estoppel certificates, SNDAs and additional miscellaneous documents for attorney review.
  • Prepare and file base tax forms.
  • Prepare closing binders and abstracts of key documents at the completion of each transaction.
  • Assist various departments with legal and non-legal matters as needed.

The Person:

  • In order to be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.
  • Law firm and in-house experience will be considered.
  • A Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong writing, organizational and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and legal terminology
