Real Estate Accountant

A Luxury Multifamily developer is looking to have a Real Estate Accountant join their team in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, and year-end audits. In addition, being able to work independently with limited oversight is perfect for this role.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

  • Overseeing monthly financials for a portfolio of properties supporting schedules and reporting packages
  • Assisting with operational budgeting and cash forecasting, and analysis
  • Providing guidance and support to onsite property managers, AP/AR, and Investment Teams on financial reporting matters
  • Coordinating year-end audits and tax return preparation
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners on financial reporting matters
  • Maintaining loan compliance
  • Suggesting and implementing improvements to current accounting and finance processes and procedures

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum three years of general accounting experience with at least one year of real estate-related industry experience
  • Solid knowledge of public accounting and budgeting, and cash flow concepts
  • A big plus: CPA license, real estate tax, audit, funds, and assets knowledge

The fair market assumption for this role is $100,000-$120,000
