Title: Regional Property Manager

Location: Hudson County, New Jersey

Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 base salary + benefits + bonus

Our client is a mid-sized real estate owner/builder/manger of a diverse asset portfolio across Hudson County NJ. Due to tremendous growth, they are seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties in Hoboken, NJ.

The Role

  • Ensure all buildings are well-maintained, coordinating prompt repairs and adhering to maintenance schedules.

  • Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive rates for materials and services, optimizing our renovation and repair budgets.

  • Proactively monitor and enhance tenant experiences, promptly addressing concerns to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

  • Regularly evaluate property performance, tracking and resolving any issues to maintain optimal occupancy rates.

  • Work with the marketing team to manage the leasing process from start to finish, ensuring vacant units are filled swiftly with quality tenants.

  • Keep tenants informed about important developments, including capital improvements, rent adjustments, and lease updates.

  • Work closely with contractors and maintenance staff to ensure all properties meet our high standards.

  • Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections and payment application.

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

  • At least 7 years of property management experience, preferably with market-rate properties.

  • Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Solid experience managing budgets and working with vendors.
