A Project Scheduler/Coordinator has arisen with a well established Mechanical Contractor headquartered in Mount Vernon, NY. This is a planner position, which will assume responsibilities for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for scheduling purposes.
Identify and mitigate potential scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and resource constraints.
Utilize industry-standard scheduling software to create and update project timelines.
Communicate regularly with project teams to provide updates on schedule progress and address any deviations from the plan.
Monitor and analyze project progress, identifying areas for improvement and recommending adjustments to the schedule as needed.
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Assist in the development of project budgets by providing input on resource requirements and scheduling considerations.
Provide support in the preparation of project status reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in construction scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Scheduler in the construction industry.
-Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Asana, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in scheduling and reporting.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing project requirements.
-Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and resource management.
-Familiarity with safety and quality standards in the construction industry.
