Senior Estimator - Commercial construction

Growing commercial General Contractor seeking a Senior Estimator in a newly created role to assist in the growth of the company through winning new projects. This position will report directly to the President.

Construction Project Estimator

Role:

• Blueprint Analysis - Expertly interpret proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related construction documents to identify labor, material, and time requirements.

• Bid Management - Prepare competitive bids for new construction projects and ensure project profitability.

• Change Order Estimation - Accurately estimate and manage change orders during all project phases.

• Cost Analysis - Compute and forecast costs efficiently by thoroughly analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

• Data Analysis & Reporting - Proficient in analyzing construction-related information, project planning, and reporting research results to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Software Proficiency - Strong experience with HCSS HeavyBid, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and either MS Project or Primavera.

• Bid Preparation Experience - Proven track record in preparing and securing winning bids in the construction industry.

• General Contractor Experience - Minimum of 5 years experience obtained within a leading general contractor environment.
