Our client is a real estate development firm looking to add an experienced Senior Development Project Manager to assist in their expanding portfolio across New York.
The role
- Act as the key liaison on the project ensuring accurate financing and team productivity
- Oversee the schedule of the project and keeping track of deadlines, anticipating any obstacles before they occur
- Attend and occasionally run meetings, effectively communicating necessary updates
- Train and coach Assistant Project Managers and Junior Associates
- Oversee acquisition opportunities and be willing to travel to ongoing and potential development sites
The person
- At least 6-10 years of experience in residential real estate development (ground-up and affordable housing highly preferred)
- Strong financial knowledge and exposure to deal underwriting
- Previous director experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to train when needed
- Team player and detail-oriented
- Being able to run teams with little guidance
- Location relevant to Manhattan that allows for easy travel to the office
