Construction Superintendent (Multifamily)

The Lead Superintendent you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire construction project from preconstruction through completion. The top priority is field coordination, working with Subcontractors to ensure that quality workmanship is carried out safely, within budget and schedule. Experience with multi-million dollar residential projects is preferred.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Specifications and contract review and coordination
• Assist Project Engineer with Expediting List to procure materials and schedule deliveries in accordance with SOP.
• Conduct weekly Subcontractor meetings and 3 week look-aheads.
• Obtain permits, building certificates, and City inspections. Familiarity with local building enforcement procedures.
• Enforces Safety policies and establish a clean and secure job site.
• Inspect workmanship and materials to adhere to Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) standards
• Review Cost Reports and Change Orders.
• Prepare progress reports, punch lists daily diaries, billing sheets, and maintain daily paperwork.
• Coordinate and approve time and material costs with sub-contractors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience working for a General Contractor on large scale ground-up multifamily construction projects
• Ability to understand and implement blueprints
• Demonstrated ability to establish relationships with subcontractors and clients
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
• Professional with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Must possess valid/active drivers license.
