Project Surveyor - Residential, Mixed-use Property Developer

Cobalt Recruitment has the pleasure of working exclusively with a residential mixed-use focused, prime real estate Investment and Development Company based in London. Funded by their own equity and backed by a financial institution, this business works on developing prime real estate in London and is currently developing a 300-unit residential scheme with 75,000 sqft commercial office in South West London. With this site currently at piling stages and with external consultants and contractors in place, this impressive developer is looking to expand their team of 12 with the hire of a talented Project Surveyor or senior level Quantity Surveyor with solid knowledge of cost management in the residential and commercial sector having worked on big ticket developments in London.

Reporting into the Owners of the business the successful Project Surveyor will lead the development process of a complex and impressive project from inception through to practical completion, working closely with the development team, operations teams, property managers, finance teams and sales & marketing. You will be tasked with maximising value from sites through feasibility, procurement, contractor management, cost management and on-site delivery. We are looking for a person who will take control and be the point of contact to put forward the questions required to interrogate costs and project plans from a client, investor and end-user perspective.


· Professional Qualifications - RICS

· Degree qualified; Real Estate, Cost, Project or Construction Management

· Cost Management background ideal

· At least 7-10 years' experience in property development with experience on comparable prime real estate

· Extensive experience and proficiency in managing developments from acquisition through to project completion

· Excellent communication

· Proactive, committed and enthusiastic approach



Base Salary: £65,000 to £90,000 pa (dependant on experience)

Benefits: Pension, Healthcare

Bonus: Discretionary based on project, company and individual success (to be negotiated)
