This structural engineering and project management consultancy have a presence in seismic regions all over the world, making them experts in seismic rehabilitation and strengthening projects. They constantly challenge the process around building strengthening in order to continue improving engineering methods and ultimately - make the world a safer place.
This position is for someone early in their structural engineering career looking to gain experience on a range of projects, from residential to commercial and even a few heritage buildings. You will be part of an established team with other junior engineers to work alongside and experienced senior engineers to learn from.
You have the choice of being based in the Christchurch, Wellington, or Auckland office. The Christchurch office is working on rebuild related projects along with several Kaikoura earthquake projects as well. The Wellington office is involved in a lot of strengthening jobs throughout the region and the Auckland office is busy with the growth of the city and supporting the other offices.
- Passionate about Structural Engineering with a particular interest in seismic strengthening.
- Ideally 1-4 years' experience in New Zealand in a similar working environment.
- Preferably a Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BEng) or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
