We are seeking to introduce a Project Manager to a leading Consultancy and to support a major Station redevelopment project in London.
Our Client has a demonstrable and very strong track record in undertaking integral roles across many major national rail schemes including HS2, Crossrail and Network Rail's electrification programme.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible as part of a team in supporting the Client and acting as the main point of contact and liaison for external and internal teams, including Engineering, Finance and Operations. You will provide proposals, budgets, designs and reports to the Client and public via consultation.

The project is of a significantly complex nature with the build involving a new Train station, substantial reconfiguration of existing infrastructure, new public realm areas and replacement of existing rail freight facilities.

Duties will consist of, but will not be limited to:
-Track documents, costs, people and teams as the project takes shape and enters construction phase
-Be responsible for drafting documents, costing and budgeting, attending formal meetings, financial forecasting, proposals and tenders.
-Be responsible for pushing this project forward, chasing teams as deadlines approach and agreeing changes and amendments
-Manage key aspects of the project plan comprising designated work packages or projects, including the identification of gaps, conducting reviews and putting actions in place to ensure the Rail programme delivers on cost, to time and to the required standard
-Aspects of project delivery as identified in project plans and as allocated by the Project Director.
-Responsible for tracking and administration in the form of action plans, reports, emails, Microsoft Projects and other business critical tasks.
To be considered for the position of Project Manager, it is anticipated that you:
-Be educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in a Construction or Engineering related discipline
-Have an excellent understanding of the principles of effective project and programme management.
-Have experience of management on construction contracts including the use of NEC3 and conducting site monitoring and contractor management
-Hold strong rail sector experience, with understanding of associated works like OLE, Signals and Track.
-Be experienced in working with rail and transport stakeholders including Network Rail, DfT and Train Operating Companies.
-Know how to use planning software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
