Construction Superintendent

We're looking for a Superintendent to join our team and take the lead on construction sites. In this role, you'll manage day-to-day field operations, ensure the work is done safely and on time, and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and the rest of the project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations, assigning tasks to crews and ensuring work stays on schedule.

• Oversee subcontractors and vendors, ensuring they meet project requirements and safety standards.

• Collaborate with project managers to create detailed schedules and address any delays or challenges.

• Inspect the work regularly to ensure it meets our high standards for quality.

• Quickly identify and resolve problems that could affect progress, such as material delays or conflicts between subcontractors.

• Enforce safety standards on-site, conduct safety meetings, and make sure everyone has the proper training.

• Serve as the main point of contact on-site for clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors, keeping them updated on progress and addressing concerns.

• Maintain accurate daily logs and reports, documenting site activities and sharing updates with project managers.

• Manage equipment, materials, and labor to ensure resources are used efficiently and are available when needed.

• Create a team environment that encourages collaboration, communication, and shared success.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry (public and private sector experience preferred).

• Solid understanding of construction methods, safety practices, and building codes.

• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and keep projects on schedule.

• OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe).

• SST (Site Safety Training) card required.

• Experience using project management software, especially Procore.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000, based on experience and qualifications.
