We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects from start to finish. You'll make sure projects stay on time, on budget, and meet all safety and quality standards. You'll work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Control and track project spending to make sure the job stays profitable.
Create and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Develop project timelines and make sure all involved parties have updated schedules.
Run weekly project meetings with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and other key people. Share meeting notes with clear action items and responsibilities.
Supervise the Assistant Project Manager and Superintendent on the job.
Make sure all project paperwork is done correctly and on time.
Order construction materials early enough to avoid delays.
Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices. Negotiate changes if needed.
Confirm that all required insurance documents are submitted. Review logs for submissions, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information).
Submit monthly pencil requisitions.
Ensure OSHA and quality standards are met. Make sure the superintendent reports any accidents.
Prepare and submit change orders when project scope or costs change.
Report progress, challenges, and budget updates to the client.
Address delays, emergencies, or other unexpected issues quickly.
Inform the Director of Operations about any major risks to budget, schedule, or quality.
Ensure the punch list is completed and the job wraps up smoothly.
