£22,000 - £25,000 - Permanent


A position for an IT Helpdesk Engineer has arisen within a large Property Management firm based in London. This role will play a key part in the support of staff and users within the company across a range of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will provide 1st line desktop support all users for technical issues.
  • You will be involved with managing all support calls and tickets and determine resolution or escalation.
  • Escalate issues to third parties or business application teams and ensure all issues are dealt with and reviewed.
  • You will act as IT liaison with 3rd party suppliers to help resolve issues.
  • Follow escalated issues through to conclusion to ensure solutions.
  • You will manage all IT hardware and stockrooms
  • You will be providing support across a range of applications and technologies, including MS Windows, and MS Office 2010 and 2013.

Key Person Specification:

  • Experience in an IT background with experience in a ticket environment.
  • You will need proficient experience of MS office 2010 and 2013, SQL and Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of support with MS Windows 7 & 8.
  • You will have proven experience in supporting desktops and laptops and mobile devices.
  • Experience with VOIP and PBX is desired.
  • You will hold a distinct advantage if you have a degree in a relevant field, or a CompTIA Server+ qualification.
  • Strong communication and attention to details is essential for this role. You will hold a distinct advantage if you are adaptable and flexible with strong problem solving and investigation skills.
