About the Role

 

 

Responsibilities

· Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process, providing strategic insights to inform business decisions.

· Lead the accounting function, ensuring the accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.

· Manage and oversee the preparation of financial reports, including financial statements and ensuring proper month-end and year-end closeouts.

· Develop and manage financial strategies and initiatives to drive business growth and profitability.

· Manage and oversee payroll and benefits administration.

· Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data and reports.

· Develop and implement processes to improve financial performance and reduce costs.

· Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the business has sufficient liquidity to meet its financial obligations.

· Assist in the development of operational and reporting standards regarding project control systems, including integration with accounting systems.

· Oversee project budget set up in conjunction with cost tracking and accounting requirements.

· Oversee the receivables and payables balance on allocated projects, checking the accuracy of invoices where necessary.

· Anticipate complex internal and external project control issues with impact on the organization.

 

Qualifications

· College Degree with 7+ years of experience in related work.

· Experience with accounting, cost control, and project management systems such as Procore and Trimble, and related accounting systems is desired.

· Experience with companies performing $20M+ in construction annually.
