Project Manager

Luxury Custom Home Builder

Pay: $150000 to $180000 base salary + bonus + benefits

An elite custom home builder with a distinguished legacy in the Hamptons is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to oversee high end residential projects in East Hampton. For more than three decades, this firm has set the benchmark for craftsmanship and client care, guiding homeowners through the custom build journey with a level of precision, discretion, and personal attention that defines true luxury.

The Project Manager plays a central role in delivering that experience and will maintain a consistent presence on site to ensure flawless execution from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead each project with full ownership, directing all phases from early planning to final handover

  • Develop and manage detailed schedules, resource plans, budgets, and cost controls to support a seamless build process

  • Coordinate architects, designers, engineers, and specialized trade partners to achieve uncompromising quality

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing proactive updates, thoughtful solutions, and steady guidance throughout the build

  • Uphold rigorous adherence to budget parameters and financial reporting standards

  • Use industry standard construction management software to create, track, and adjust schedules in real time

  • Manage change orders promptly and communicate all updates to the appropriate office and field teams

  • Maintain the elevated standards of craftsmanship, design integrity, and professionalism expected of a premier Hamptons builder

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years experience managing ground up luxury custom home construction

  • Bachelor degree in Construction Management or a related field

  • Proficiency with construction management platforms such as ProCore, BlueBeam, or Primavera

  • Expert ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and complex construction documents

  • Strong leadership presence with exceptional communication and client facing skills

  • Proven ability to anticipate challenges, solve problems, and drive projects forward in a fast paced, detail driven environment
